Westgate Technologies and HP Forge Strategic Partnership with Globacom: A Milestone Achievement
Westgate Technologies Ltd achieved another significant milestone by hosting a meeting with Globacom, one of Africa’s leading network companies, and HP, a multinational information technology company. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and forge a stronger partnership and alliance among the two companies. The event took place on May 18, 2023, at Westgate Technologies’ head office in Ikeja, Lagos, situated at Oba Akran Avenue.
The staff in attendance from Westgate Technologies Ltd were Mr Odofia, the Executive Director of Westgate alongside his management team.
Globacom, renowned as one of Africa’s largest and top-performing telecommunication networks with millions of subscribers in Nigeria and Ghana, was represented by Mohammed Rabie, the Director of Gloworld & Experience Centre, along side with his team members and also Jenny Ani, HP Retail Trade Marketing Manager for Central & East Africa, to discuss the potential for a robust partnership and alliance with Westgate Technologies.
Recognizing HP’s global reputation as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Westgate Technologies was awarded the honour as the exclusive supplier of PCs including laptops and desktops, to Globacom. This appointment paved the way for drafting a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two organizations, solidifying their collaborative relationship.
Westgate Technologies Ltd with its vast experience in the industry of over 19 Years in operation, has exposed us to the intricacies of operating in Nigeria’s business environment. Over the years, we have grown and have expanded our reach to over 11 locations scattered across the country with standard experience ICT centers (stores) where customers have the unique pleasure to experience firsthand display of ICT products. This has propelled us to having this unique collaboration with Globacom.
